July 10-16: Wallowa County, Oregon. SRS to teach generative writing workshop entitled "Light in a Time of Darkness" at Summer Fishtrap: Writing and the West. Registration begins Feb 1. For information:

August 9: Indianapolis. Reception at Indiana State Museum for exhibit of photos and text from Stone Country: Then & Now. Details to come.

September 2: Bloomington, Indiana. SRS will be signing copies of Stone Country, Dancing in Dreamtime, and other recent titles at the Quarry Festival of Books. 10 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., in Dunn Meadow on the Indiana University campus (on Indiana Avenue, between 6th and 7th Streets. Free admission.

September 8: Anderson, Indiana. SRS to lecture as part of Anderson University's centennial year celebration. Details to come.

September 14-16: Vermillion, South Dakota. SRS to visit University of South Dakota for a public reading, craft talk, and class visits. Details to come.

September 21-22: Nashville, Tennessee. SRS to give reading and visit classes at Belmont University. Details to come.
